Administrative Manager, Neuroscience Programs
POSITION SUMMARY
The mission of Simons Foundation Autism Research Initiative (SFARI) is to improve the understanding, diagnosis and treatment of individuals on the autism spectrum. The Neuroscience Collaborationssupport and convenescientists to address fundamental questions about brain function.
The Administrative Manager, Neuroscience Programs will support the Neuroscience Collaborations science team in planning and managing the administrative components of the Simons Collaboration on the Global Brain (SCGB) and the Simons Collaboration on Plasticity and the Aging Brain (SCPAB). The Administrative Manager, Neuroscience Programs will also provide administrative support for the planning of the new Neuroscience Collaboration(s).
Administrative support for the programs listed above include, but is not limited to, planning workshops, annual meetings and logistics for grant reviews and progress report meetings. This position requires in depth knowledge of programmatic operations, grants portfolio processes, data, and administrative needs. The Administrative Manager, Neuroscience Programs will report to the Senior Director of Finance and Administration and will work closely with the Simons Foundations Grants and Events teams and will liaise with prominent scientists involved in these programs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee administrative components of the Neuroscience Collaborations grantmaking process, including, but not limited to, planning multiple Neuroscience Collaborations grant review meetings each year, coordinating virtual progress report site visits with funded investigators and executive committee members, etc. This includes interacting with grant applicants and external reviewers.
Serve as administrative lead for the yearly SCGB and SCPAB investigator meetings, as well as other large-scale Neuroscience Collaboration workshops and other events.
Track progress of various components of investigator meetings and keep the VP of Neuroscience Collaborations and Senior Director of Finance and Administration informed of any key changes to meeting timelines.
Build and maintain Monday.com boards, which are used for program management purposes and to track all meeting deadlines and progress on deliverables.
Schedule and provide organization support for quarterly Executive Committee Meetings for the SCGB and SCPAB and other external and internal meetings.
Create and update standard operating procedures and ensure adherence by team members.
Assist with ad hoc projects, including but not limited to, compiling and tracking grantee contact information and preparing materials for internal and external reports.
Archive and organize department Dropbox files and Google Drive folders.
Work closely with program management team members in SFARI to coordinate activities within the Autism and Neuroscience division.
Foster and build good working relationships both externally and internally within the foundation.
Perform any other administrative duties or tasks as assigned or required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Bachelor's degree
Experience
At least five years' professional experience with administrative and project management support
Experience supporting programs or projects in the medical, science or grant making fields is a plus.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The full-time annual compensation range for this position is $90,000 - $105,000, depending on experience.
