Impact Associate - Raleigh-Durham, NC area (HYBRID)

This position reports directly to Maria Kingery, 360 Impact’s Principal. Your time will be spent supporting Maria’s work as Strategic Business Guide & Leadership Coach, and the various projects and initiatives she supports outside of 360 Impact - including her role as Chief Impact Officer at Southern Energy Management (SEM).

 

Specific Roles are…

Administrative Support

  • Own/manage 360 Impact’s schedule/calendar - look at the schedule 12-18 months out and make sure it is all working together seamlessly. 
  • Own email for Maria and 360 Impact - work a system to ensure <4 hour/same day response in some form or other and ensure that people don't get lost in the shuffle. Even when it's Maria they want to talk to, you will jump in and handle things if needed or track her down and help find time for her to respond to them.
  • Customer service - you will be an important representative of Maria’s many business interests and will need to enjoy interacting with her clients and her broader network. 
  • Bookkeeping - create and send invoices, approximately 4-20 per month. Review credit card statements, complete expense reports and answer questions from outside accountant.
  • Own 360 Impact’s B Impact Assessment process - we’re a certified B Corp and we need to complete the assessment every 3 years to remain recertified.
  • Book travel accommodations for Maria, as needed. 
  • Anything else you can do to support Maria to amplify impact through special projects and personal assistance.

 

Client Engagement

  • Appointments and scheduling will be a constant and primary role.
  • Session "Glide Path" - there are detailed, repeatable processes for leading up to and out of each client session. This includes creating presentations, and sending pre/follow-up emails. They need to be followed with precision and extreme attention to detail. You are part of the service and will be interacting directly with clients, asking them for documents, helping them schedule or reschedule sessions, sharing resources, running reports and answering periodic questions. 
  • Session/client information management - there is a fair amount of information that gets collected about Maria’s clients and their journey. It's an ongoing process to keep it all up to date, especially as the data we collect matures and morphs as we learn how best to help our clients. 
  • Own our client onboarding process.
  • Know our services and offerings - you are expected to be familiar with the operating system process (Pinnacle), how it works, and why it's important to the client. Maria will provide books that explain this in detail. You will be expected to read them and understand them at a high level. You will also experience it first-hand at SEM. 

 

Sales & Marketing: 

  • Lead generation - identify target market companies through our current network, and promote and schedule free lead-gen workshops.
  • Sales & client coordination - manage sales pipeline using Copper and handle CRM data entry. 
  • Support with client proposal writing - must be able to align client needs and wants with our current services.
  • Manage our client referral program - including requesting testimonials regularly. 
  • Client retention and appreciation - coordinate regular communication with existing clients and client gifts.
  • Reporting - accurate and timely collection and reporting of business data is needed on a bi-weekly, quarterly and annual basis.
  • Manage social media calendar and website updates. 

 

SEM Support: 

  • Serve as a member of SEM’s B Squad - grow community partnerships, coordinate volunteering opportunities and tracking, and coordinate strategy for improving our BIA score.
  • Manage our internal professional development program - suggest innovative ideas and provide LMS (learning management system) support.
  • Serve as our JEDI (Justice, Equity, Diversity, Inclusion) point of contact - coordinating training opportunities for our team and ensuring our business practices are aligned with our core values and commitment to social & environmental justice.
  • Team engagement - plan, coordinate and execute internal team events.
  • Assist with periodic HR tasks.

Qualifications 

  • +2 years of relevant experience
  • Commitment to creating magical client experiences
  • Passion for sustainability and all things B Corp 
  • Great and proactive communicator - written and verbal
  • Extremely organized and good analytical skills 
  • Willingness and enthusiasm for juggling many balls at once
  • Desire to learn new things 
  • Proficient with technology and comfortable learning new tools

 

Bonus Points

  • Video and Graphic Design experience 
  • LMS experience
  • Experience running virtual meetings and using online collaboration tools
  • Quickbooks, Copper or similar CRM Experience
  • B Corp Assessment and/or Conscious Capitalism knowledge/experience
