    Title: Product Manager

    Location: New York Metropolitan Area

    The mission of the Doris Duke Foundation (DDF) is to build a more creative, equitable and sustainable future by investing in artists and the performing arts, environmental conservation, medical research, child well-being and greater mutual understanding among diverse communities.     POSITION

    The Product Manager will lead the development and deployment of innovative internal applications aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and supporting the foundation’s data ecosystem. This role involves defining the product vision, collaborating with stakeholders across all departments and managing the development life cycle from ideation to deployment. The Product Manager will ensure that these applications meet the specific needs of DDF’s internal teams while aligning with the foundation’s strategic goals.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Product Development and Management: Define and execute the product vision and strategy, focusing on internal applications that drive efficiency and strengthen the foundation’s data ecosystem.
      • Lead the product development process from concept through deployment, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project scope.
      • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Finance, Investments, People & Culture, Programs, Duke Farms and Shangri La—to ensure that products meet the needs of all stakeholders.
    • Operational Efficiency and Cost Management: Optimize resource allocation and utilization to ensure efficient and effective product operations.
      • Manage relationships with vendors and contractors, with a focus on reducing reliance on external consultants and controlling product-related expenses.
      • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product performance and operational efficiency.
    • Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with leaders and teams across the foundation, including the President and CEO, to gather insights, validate concepts and refine product features.
      • Ensure clear and consistent communication of product goals, progress and outcomes across all departments.
      • Support the development of a product strategy that aligns with the foundation’s mission and long-term objectives.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Demonstrated experience in product management, consulting, finance or project management, with a focus on internal applications.
    • Proven ability managing the full product life cycle, with an emphasis on efficiency and data ecosystem development.
    • Strong project management skills and experience in fostering cross-functional collaboration.
    • Experience in managing vendor relationships and optimizing resource allocation for cost-effective operations.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of effective collaboration across diverse teams.
    • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and execution.

    COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

    • Anticipated salary range is $126,400-$158,000, and the final offer will depend on experience.
    • Industry-leading benefits, including a 15% employer contribution to 401(k), health insurance, four weeks paid vacation with additional time off and matching gift benefits of up to $20,000 per year—all designed to support employees’ well-being, productivity and engagement.
