Descrição

New Riff is seeking an outgoing, creative, and highly organized Private Single Barrel Sales Manager with a passion for sales and exceptional customer service. Working within a 500-mile radius from our Distillery in Newport, KY, this position involves extensive travel — expect more than 50% of your time to be dedicated to exploring new opportunities, nurturing existing relationships, and expanding our Private Single Barrel Sales program.

This role extends beyond traditional sales. We're looking for a true ambassador of the New Riff Brand, someone who can connect with diverse audiences across various backgrounds. The ideal candidate will be an organized self-starter, comfortable managing their own schedule and working independently.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as an expert on New Riff’s Single Private Barrel selection program, understanding the nuances of the experience and how customers can leverage selections for their teams and organizations.
  • Prospect, qualify, and generate sales to support the growth of the New Riff Private Single Barrel selection program in the Cincy 500 Region.
  • Cultivate relationships with Bourbon affinity groups, regional tourism partners, event planners, charitable organizations, and corporate executives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure flawless execution for selections and experiences.
  • Deepen knowledge of the Bourbon industry, regional tourism, corporate gifting, event planning, and charitable fundraising in the Cincy 500 region.
  • Develop new business through referrals and networking with industry peers.
  • Monitor regional news outlets and social media for opportunities to connect with potential customers.
  • Communicate effectively through in person meetings, calls, emails, and virtual meetings to introduce the program.
  • Maintain accurate records of all accounts within our CRM.
  • Plan and facilitate unique experiences for Single Barrel customers, including travel, lodging, logistics, marketing, schedules, and additional experiences.
  • Attend offsite events, expos, or conferences to educate potential customers and build sales leads.

QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales, communication, marketing, hospitality, or related field; OR 4+ years of sales experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive sales approach with a drive to succeed.
  • Understanding of market segments, competitor’s strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, and supply and demand.
  • Time management skills and ability to work on multiple projects.
  • Creativity in designing events and customer experiences.
  • Advanced understanding of sales and marketing best practices.

  • Full-time, salaried position with an annual salary of $90,000.
  • Additional 40% bonus structure available based on meeting sales goals and KPI’s.
  • 40-45 hours per week, including some nights and weekends.
