AidKit is a rapidly growing social impact startup that provides technical infrastructure and support for direct cash assistance. We are making possible programs that are investing in the early childcare workforce, supporting at-risk populations, and implementing Guaranteed Basic Income at scale. 

You’ll work directly with our partners—government agencies and nonprofits—to manage impactful programs by implementing our software and leveraging the expertise of our team.

About AidKit

AidKit is the engine that non-profits and governments trust to operate cash assistance programs. We replace convoluted workflows of glued together CRM’s, spreadsheets, surveys, forms, bank portals, and human tedium with one unified platform to allow organizations to operate more efficiently and get dollars directly into the hands of people who need it most.

AidKit grew out of a need to distribute funds that we raised to support undocumented workers in Colorado during the early days of the coronavirus pandemic. We built efficient, scalable systems to manage the program and distribute funds with equity and dignity.

We’ve helped our partners distribute over $130M to tens of thousands of individuals and families across the nation. We are growing rapidly and currently have another $100 million in aid under contract. We are supporting some of the largest Guaranteed Basic Income programs in the United States.

About the Role

We are looking for a talented Senior Program Manager to lead the program implementation of our software for some of the largest direct cash and basic income programs in the nation. Your role will require you to:

• Build and manage lasting relationships with our key government and non-profit partners.
• Collaborate with our customers, partners, and the AidKit technical team to design and build the tools to support financial assistance programs
• Take responsibility for ensuring excellent UX by performing user experience testing, gathering and implementing feedback from stakeholders, and translating program needs to our software engineers
• Lead coordination with non-profit organizations to utilize AidKit to conduct targeted outreach, refer applicants and support them through the intake process
• Lead program design, planning, and execution to ensure successful partner and end user experiences
• Drive the direction of the overall program lifecycle, assuring that all aspects AidKit are being used correctly and effectively by partners and beneficiaries, that the assistance dollars are reaching the beneficiaries in a timely manner, and that reporting and reconciliation processes are completed.
• Proactively solve complex problems arising from program implementation and develops new tools/templates “fit for purpose” of these new solutions
• Define and monitor key performance indicators – develops metrics for core program and processes for improved delivery on program objectives
• Drive resolution of critical issues for customers, partners, and beneficiaries, including root cause analysis and course corrections resulting in more efficient program implementation
• Support the development of accurate pricing models
• Manage multiple programs simultaneously

About You

Minimum Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of professional experience in program management or a masters’ degree and 3+ years of professional experience (assuming relevant coursework)
• You have experience working with or for nonprofits and/or NGO’s, bonus if your background include delivering services to vulnerable populations domestically or internationally.
• You have a proven track record of managing multiple programs simultaneously
• You have excellent people skills
• You can lead and drive program decisions
• You are a quick learner and have the ability to take initiative and problem-solve
• You are tech-savvy; comfortable with data and databases
• You have previous experience implementing technology to meet program needs
• You have the ability to translate program needs to our engineering team
• You are willing to jump in and do right by those we serve, whatever it takes
• You care deeply about the mission of direct aid and supporting anyone who needs help, no matter where they come from

AidKit has a virtual office with staff working in Colorado, Connecticut, New York, California, Washington and Washington DC. Pay for this role is $130k salary plus equity and benefits.
