Program/Fellowship Description

The Meridian Center for Global Leadership (MCGL) administers professional and educational exchange programs that enhance Meridian's vision of a more secure and prosperous world.

Study of the U.S. Institute (SUSI) for Student Leaders - The SUSI Fellow will assist the SUSI teams with in-person summer programs taking place in June and July. Fellows will help monitor complex travel logistics, support Meridian's online learning content, and assist in communications with stakeholders, including university partners and vendors. Other than public diplomacy program development and administration, the SUSI Fellow will also gain skills in monitoring and evaluation.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assisting with logistical and administrative coordination of in-person exchanges, ranging from complex international travel arrangements to domestic travel in the U.S.
• Attending and taking notes in virtual meetings and webinars with program teams, participants, and partners
• Supporting virtual production of events on Zoom or other virtual platforms
• Engaging program participants and alumni in synchronous and asynchronous learning environments, creating and editing participant materials, editing content in Learning Management System (LMS) platforms such as Canvas
• Creating compelling, creative media to sustain engagement across SUSI program social channels
• Supporting research on topics such as program design, implementation, technology platforms, vendors, and other elements as needed to ensure programmatic success
• Working with program teams for post-program follow-up, monitoring & evaluation, and data management/analytics
• Support business development teams during the proposal writing process and contribute to Meridian-wide communications initiatives.
• Completing all organizational administrative responsibilities in a timely manner.
• Participation in Fellowship cohort activities
• Other duties as assigned
