Throughout his career, Vana has enchanted audiences worldwide, including at his renowned outdoor concert series, Chez Vana, held on his terrace in Manhattan’s East Village. This “magical” setting, praised by fans, became a response to the pandemic’s halt on live performances, allowing Vana to continue sharing his music with sold-out crowds. Now in its 4th year, Chez Vana has evolved into a staple of the New York City jazz scene.
A graduate of Berklee College of Music and a pianist with an expansive career, Vana has worked alongside legends like Paquito D’Rivera, Regina Carter, and Ute Lemper. His innovative compositions, such as Healing in Foreign Lands and works featured in Sex and the City, have solidified his status as one of jazz’s leading voices.
