The City of Puyallup Emergency Management is hiring for a temporary Community Services Planning Specialist. This is a 20-hour per week, non-benefit position. The work schedule will be within typically normal business hours and may occasionally require evening or weekend hours. The anticipated duration is through June 30, 2025, with the possibility of being extended.

This high-level professional will perform a variety of duties and activities in support of long-term planning, specific to vulnerable populations.
This is a temporary position with the purpose of providing work in the planning, development and evaluation of community service programs for the City of Puyallup and surrounding region. Incumbent will be responsible for recommending, developing and implementing policy and program plans. Incumbent will foster relationships amongst regional jurisdictions, service agencies, citizen groups and other organizations involved in the planning process. Reports to the Emergency Management Manager.
