For more than 100 years, the Anti-Defamation League has been committed to “stopping the defamation of the Jewish people and to securing justice and fair treatment to all.”

The Upper Midwest Region of ADL is based in Chicago and led by Regional Director David Goldenberg, a board of more than 100 committed volunteers, and approximately 20 regional and national staff; we provide support to Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa, and Kansas.

ADL has the courage to speak out, even when we stand alone, in the face of discrimination directed at people of any color or creed. We bring anti-bias, bullying and cyberbullying prevention education to more than one million students a year. We are the largest trainer of law enforcement officers on bias, hate crimes and hate speech outside of the U.S. government. We fight for the right to live, love, pray, speak and vote however you like.
