The Global Records Manager will be responsible for development, evaluation, creation, design, and improvement initiatives of a records management program across the organization in accordance with TNC’s policies and procedures related to records management, retention and destruction. This position will work with leaders across the organization to drive a culture of heightened awareness with respect to records management. This position is also the designated Records Coordinator and Legal Librarian for the Global Legal Team (GLT), responsible for the document management system and records retention process within the Legal Department.
The Global Records Manager will develop the records management program of the organization in accordance with TNC’s policies and procedures. This will include the development of strategies, actions and work processes. They will provide centralized support, training and oversight across TNC, working closely with Information Technology (IT), Legal, Finance and Operations staff. Working with the Legal Department, they will develop and maintain the records retention schedules in all countries in which TNC operates. They will also assist in the identification and design of solutions to sustain improved business outcomes, reduce costs, and enable effective risk management. This position will participate in the formulation and development of new or modified business processes related to records management and retention. Within the GLT, they will work with a team in the development of a unified cloud-based file system for legal files and administer and maintain the system. They may be responsible for presenting formal written reports or presentations to stakeholders. They will analyze situations, evaluate alternatives, modify processes and practices, and implement solutions in order to improve outcomes, experience and successful outcomes.
• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years related experience or equivalent combination;
• Experience analyzing information;
• Experience initiating, designing, managing and implementing multiple projects;
• Experience with business process analysis and/or improvement;
• Experience using MS office, Word, Excel and Teams; and
• Experience working with cross-functional teams.
