Education Research Project

Seeking someone in Mumbai, India, capable of managing a 6-12 week education research project, targeting diploma and certificate courses in Mumbai. The primary goal of the project is to put together individualized plans for additional education for the next academic year for 3 students (age 20+) from an NGO shelter home. 

The project will entail:

1. Researching diploma, certificate and short-term courses
2. Researching other opportunities (leadership training, etc.)
3. Presenting options and making recommendations 
4. Assisting with admissions, as appropriate in June/July

The students and their areas of interest are:

• G: just completed her BA in Sociology and is interested in music industry, sports management, travel and tourism, event management. 
• T: just completed her BSW and is looking for other related coursework. 
• J: completed her 12th last year, and  just now completed a diploma in Event Management from NIEM. She’s looking for other non-degree coursework in event management or related fields. 

Applications must have knowledge of the Indian education system, including diploma and certificate courses, and institutes in Mumbai.
