What You Will Do

  • Primary responsibilities:

  • Digital fundraising:
  • Work with the finance director and digital firm to manage and grow our digital fundraising program, via email, text, and social media.
  • Digital communications:
  • Produce graphics and copy for social media channels, post content to those channels, and monitor performance.
  • Work with the communications team, policy team, and allied organizations to coordinate rapid response, and create and help disseminate content online.
  • Work with our web designer to manage our campaign website, updating content regularly and developing and implementing a SEO-optimized content strategy.
  • Work with our digital firm to find creative ways to spread our message online, particularly in the absence of traditional digital advertising opportunities.
  • Recruit and manage influencers and content creators (paid and organic) to help spread our message on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and other key platforms.
  • Digital organizing:
  • Work with the organizing director to implement and manage our digital organizing program, utilizing tools like Reach, to recruit and support volunteers (online and off).
  • Collaborate with allies to leverage reach and coordinate online actions. Provide digital support, content, and training to allies.
  • Identify and track key performance indicators.
  • Monitor best practices and trends and experiment with creative ways to present content across the digital ecosystem.
  • Manage relevant consultants, vendors, related accounts, volunteers/interns, and billing.
  • Generate regular reports on KPIs for internal audiences.
