School Store Manager (part-time)

Description:
The School Store Manager is responsible for the daily operation and management of the Fay School Store and the scheduling of parent volunteers who provide support in the Store. The School Store Manager reports to the Assistant Head of School for Finance and Operations and collaborates with the Marketing and Communications office and the Family Association. This is a part-time position, twenty hours per week during the school year and reduced summer hours.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a retail position and strong organizational and communication skills. Candidates must be able to work independently and prioritize effectively. A bachelor’s degree is preferred. Candidates should have a high level of comfort using inventory management and point-of-sale (POS) applications and navigating the School’s internal website, and must be familiar with using Google Suite applications. Candidates must be able to stand for extended periods of time and carry up to 25 lbs without assistance.
