Who We Need:

It’s Time Texas is looking for an individual to coordinate the administrative and operational activities of It’s Time Texas’ vision in the South Texas Region, building off our existing stronghold in the Rio Grande Valley. The South Texas Regional Coordinator will work to integrate It’s Time Texas programming and support initiatives within multiple sectors of the community, including schools, employers, healthcare systems, and coalitions. The South Texas Regional Coordinator will assist in program operations and support; creation of internal documents, processes, and policies; coordination of meeting logistics, project coordination and scheduling; assisting in outreach; coordinating program delivery needs with the marketing department; and improving data management processes and reporting. Under the supervision of the South Texas Regional Director, this person will play a key role in increasing internal efficiencies and the impact of It’s Time Texas. This position is currently fully remote, and travel is expected across the South Texas region up to 20% of the time.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

 Program Operations & Support (50%) 

  • Coordinate meeting logistics, agenda setting and preparation 
  • Gather program documentation support as needed
  • Support projects as a task manager to ensure effective program delivery
  • Create internal and external written program materials including partnership agreements, informational flyers, presentations and other documents 
  • Coordinate with the Marketing and Communications team for the creation and design of program materials 
  • Coordinate with the Strategy team for strategy and evaluation program delivery needs 
  • Work as liaison with It’s Time Texas Technology Resources team to coordinate program delivery to ensure efficient technology maintenance and quality assurance 
  • Support the implementation of strategies that increase participation and expansion of programming 
  • Use project management systems and tools to effectively to guide programs 
  • Support operational maintenance for programs department including, but not limited to, file organization and maintaining SOPs and related materials
  • Execute programmatic tasks as assigned

Data Collection & Reporting (30%)

  • Support data management process creation and execution for the organization
  • Responsible for the creation of monthly data progress reports for multiple areas of ITT’s work
  • Ensures data accuracy within reports 
  • Assist in the evaluation of data to improve program effectiveness and efficiency 
  • Additional reporting as needed

Program Outreach & Maintenance (20%)

  • Assist in outreach of strategic partner relationships to increase awareness of and engagement in It’s Time Texas programs and initiatives
  • Lead the creation and dissemination of the monthly newsletters and other communications as needed
  • Coordinate and attend events, meetings and initiatives as needed

 What You’ll Bring:

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) conversational required; written preferred
  • 2+ years’ work experience with target region; preferably in a health-related field
  • Demonstrated initiative, time management, project management, organizational and customer service skills
  • Comfortable utilizing technology to participate in meetings and collaborate with other staff members remotely
  • Dependable, resourceful, and able to work independently 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
