The Manager of Scientific Programs and Initiatives assists with the Foundation’s scientific programs and professional programs. This entails managing administratively the organization’s lymphoma consortia, initiatives, scientific workshops and programs. This includes but is not limited to on-site support of education programs and scientific workshops. Each year, the Foundation hosts a number of in-person and virtual scientific initiatives to facilitate collaboration and partnerships among academic scientists, clinicians, government agencies, and regulatory bodies. This person will serve as a primary relationship manager for workshop attendees and vendors (including venues).

Located in New York City, the Lymphoma Research Foundation is the nation’s largest non-profit organization devoted to funding innovative research and serving the lymphoma community through a comprehensive series of education programs, outreach initiatives, and patient services. The Foundation developed a first of its kind mobile app for people with lymphoma which was recognized by Apple as one of the best medical apps in the country. The Foundation also provides continuing medical education programs designed to increase the knowledge, skills and performance of healthcare professionals who treat and care for people with lymphoma.

About the Opportunity
The position is based at the Foundation’s New York City office and reports to the Associate Director of Scientific and Professional Education Programs. Please note that is mandatory for Foundation staff, including this position, to work in the Foundation’s New York City office Tuesday-Thursday; staff may work remotely Mondays and Fridays. The salary range for this role is $60,000 – 80,000 annually.
