Position Title: Development Coordinator, Leadership Giving

Reports to: Sr. Manager of Leadership Giving

Location: Boston, MA

 

Position Overview: 

 

The Annual Giving Coordinator, Leadership Giving provides a broad range of support to annual donors as well as team members, delegating about 75% of their time to Leadership Giving (mid-level) efforts. The Coordinator will manage the mid-level stewardship/thank you communication processes, as well as subsequent follow-up or support, including related action tracking and imports to the CRM. The Coordinator will assist in general donor support functions, especially during high-volume time periods, proofreading donor communications, and liaising with agency partners as required. The Annual Giving team, including Leadership Giving, is responsible for growing unrestricted revenue at the $1 - $9,999 level, stewarding donors at this level, and increasing PIH’s donor base.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Coordinate list pulls, delegation and execution of ongoing/weekly thank you calls, texts, e-mails, and notes to all mid-level donors, as well as multi-channel onboarding series for new-to-Leadership Giving Society donors.
  • Manage and support mailing process for annual stewardship campaigns such as anniversary and holiday cards for mid-level donors.
  • Coordinate list reviews and suppression files for direct mail and other communications for mid-level donors. Provide support to Sr. Manager of Leadership Giving in direct mail strategy and other project management.
  • Ensure all communications and interactions with mid-level standard donors are imported to and tracked in CRM, and all Leadership Giving Society attributes are maintained and updated regularly.
  • Work in partnership with Annual Giving Coordinator to respond to all incoming supporter and public inquiries and requests—received via donor support phone line, general info e-mail account, web chat, and mail.
  • Provide administrative and proofreading support to all team members; work closely with IG coordinators to ensure smooth cross-team collaboration on supply inventory, scheduling and meetings.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or one to two years of customer service and/or nonprofit experience. 
  • Solid computer and database skills including the functional use of Microsoft Office. 
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and to work collaboratively with various teams. 
  • Attentive to detail, able to work efficiently in a deadline driven environment. 
  • Dedication to the mission of Partners In Health, including professional and accurate representation of the organization.
  • Occasional evening availability required. 
  • Passion for the mission of PIH.
