As a major employer in one of the fastest growing counties in the country, YMCA of Snohomish County impacts 40,000 people annually with a $21M ($30M pre-Covid) operating budget.

We are looking for our next Chief Development Officer. This is an amazing opportunity for an existing CDO or non-profit executive with fundraising skills, who feels like they are ready for the next professional mountain to climb. The YMCA of Snohomish County is a healthy YNAN YMCA situated just 25 miles north of Seattle, WA. We enjoy great weather and an incredible quality of life. Nestled between the Puget Sound and the Cascade Mountains, we are just 100 miles from Canada and have our own top ranked international airport in Paine Field (PAE).

If you are a fundraising professional who is excited about building your career, this may be the opportunity you are looking for!

In our most recent annual campaign, we set aside resources to hire 13 new, full-time youth workers to be deployed in our community.

In November of 2021 we will launch our YMCA Leadership Academy to ensure our young professionals have the hard and soft skills required to be successful in stewarding this incredible legacy.

If you are reading this, you no doubt know of the YMCA’s important role in helping America return to normal through work-related childcare as well as enrichment programming that develops our youth into the change-makers we need to create the kinds of communities our children deserve. We anticipate growing our annual campaign back to 10% of annual revenues, developing strategies to grow our endowment and launch a new capital campaign in service of opening our 7th full-service facility as well as a resident camp.
