Dates: August 10, 2026 – August 9, 2027
Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)
Program Details – 1-year term running from August 10, 2026 – August 9, 2027. Members are expected to serve 35-40 hours per week.
End-of-Service Benefit - At the successful completion of their service term, VISTAs receive either an education award ($7,395) or an end-of-service stipend ($1,800).
Living Allowance - A bi-weekly payment that each VISTA receives via direct deposit during their service term. The VISTA living allowance is set at the poverty level of your organization’s county, not where the member lives. This is determined by AmeriCorps, and it is not negotiable.
Our VISTA’s living allowance is $32,262.35

We will count on you in the following areas.
The Digital and Brand Content VISTA will build the capacity of WSF’s communications team by developing and strengthening the organization’s digital presence, content systems, and brand storytelling. The VISTA placed at WSF will support the creation and execution of social media content, design assets, email marketing campaigns, and branding initiatives across platforms. This will result in increased scale and reach of WSF’s mission through more consistent, high-quality, and data-informed digital communication.
- Strengthen WSF’s social media presence by creating consistent, trend-informed content across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
- Develop a structured content pipeline and visual brand system to support all digital and marketing needs with high-quality design assets.
- Implement a data-driven approach to digital content by monitoring, tracking, and analyzing social media, web, and email performance metrics.
- Support cross-functional brand initiatives, including email marketing campaigns, event presence strategy, pitch deck production, and external agency project management.
- Grow WSF’s social media presence by increasing overall engagement rate by 15% across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok by August 2027 through the development and execution of trend-informed, platform-specific content.
- Establish a structured content pipeline and digital asset library by December 2026 to ensure all marketing and communications requests are fulfilled with on-brand, high-quality visual and written materials.
- Implement a monthly digital performance tracking system by October 2026 to monitor social media, web, and email metrics, generating data-driven recommendations that optimize content strategy and increase audience engagement by 10%.
- Support and execute a minimum of four major cross-functional brand initiatives per year (email campaigns, event presence, pitch decks, and agency coordination) that advance WSF program goals and maintain cohesive brand storytelling.

- Be 18 years or older (no upper age limit)
- Hold one of the following statuses:
- US citizen
- US national
- Lawful permanent resident
- Available to serve for 1 year in a full-time capacity (35-40 hours per week)
- Able to pass a background check
