NAF has grown from one NAF Academy of Finance in New York City to hundreds of academies across the country focusing on growing industries including: finance, hospitality & tourism, information technology, engineering, and health sciences. During the 2020-2021 school year, over 117,000 students attended 619 NAF academies across 37 states, plus DC, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands. In 2020, NAF academies reported 99% of seniors graduated with 87% of graduates planning to go to college.
The Digital Marketing Manager taking both a strategic and creative approach, will leverage digital channels to meet NAF’s organizational goals. Channels include: naf.org, social media, email marketing, and internal online platforms. The Digital Marketing Manager will manage initiatives from the ideation stage through to execution, implementation and data analysis to inform future digital marketing initiative. The achievements of the Digital Marketing Manager will elevate NAF’s brand and, in turn, lead to a higher quality experience for current network members and increased opportunity for NAF and to benefit more young working to overcome significant barriers to access. This position is a member of the Marketing & Communications team and works cross-functionally with other teams to discuss plans and marketing strategies. This position supervises the Email Marketing Coordinator.
NAF is currently working remotely, but typically maintains a NYC headquarters. This role can be remote or NYC-based.
Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:
Website Performance (40%)
Social Media (40%)
Develop and monitor social media strategy and content for NAF’s Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, NAF’s blog, and others as relevant. This includes curating relevant content, researching topics, interviewing network members, writing posts, designing content, providing live coverage of events and scheduling content.
Email Marketing (10%)
Oversee the email marketing calendar and content creation for several different audiences. This includes scheduling, drafting, proofing, and sending emails as well as monitoring email analytics and implement strategies for improved performance as well as management of contact information.
Data Management (10%)
Monitor, collect, and analyze data to drive campaign and project success.
Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Marketing, Web Development, Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field preferred.
