Environmental Law Attorney - Oregon

Adams Broadwell Joseph & Cardozo is a growing law firm looking for an Attorney in Oregon to join our team. The position is open to attorneys with a minimum of five (5) years of legal experience and admission to the Oregon Bar. The position is remote. The work is on an as-needed basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research legal and factual issues related to pending cases.
• Draft memoranda.
• Work with experts and scientists.
• Prepare comment letters on proposed agency actions.
• Oral advocacy at public hearings.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of five (5) years of legal experience and admission to the Oregon Bar.
• Experience practicing land use and environmental law.
• Excellent research, analytic, writing, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated work ethic, good judgment, initiative, and creativity.
• Strong desire to advocate for sustainable development that avoids or mitigates environmental harm and public service impacts while maximizing community benefits.
• Demonstrated commitment to serving the public interest.
• Ability to work collegially and contribute to a diverse, equitable and inclusive work culture.
• Ability and willingness to travel as needed.
