Role Summary We are looking for a highly motivated, passionate, and organized candidate to fill our AmeriCorps VISTA Training Associate role. The Training Associate would build the capacity of the programs team by supporting processes to train volunteers to do community service work and via coordinating direct service work for local chapter networks. The Training Associate would support the programs team to design curriculum, training materials and workshops on AMIGOS core pillars, including; leadership, cultural humility and service. All curriculum will include a focus on social justice and topics of diversity, equity and inclusion. Additionally, the Training Associate will support the team to develop curriculum on project themes, including; food justice, environmental conservation, climate justice, renewable energy, indigenous rights, and others. Curriculum would be for both middle school and high school populations. Additionally, the Training Associate would coordinate with local chapter leaders to plan service opportunities in 10-12 cities.
