You are highly organized, collaborative, and able to create compelling fundraising communications. You are effective at working cross-functionally and have a keen understanding of project management principles and methodologies. You are invested in recovery from substance use disorder and believe in the power of community. You care about helping to reduce the stigmas around living sober. This position is remote, but ideally located in the Denver, CO area. It will support the organization by creating and supporting efficient processes in our development and grant operations. The ideal candidate will have the ability and experience to leverage AI tools and technology to build clear and concise copy for diverse audiences. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Manage the entire grant fundraising lifecycle from initial prospect research to concept development, tracking, engagement, and reporting
  • Develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans while tracking campaign progress, analyzing results, and recommending improvements for future efforts 
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Programs, Digital Products, Marketing, Research, and Accounting) to ensure on-time and high-quality deliverables to achieve fundraising goals 
  • Effectively use Salesforce for tracking, management, and reporting  
  • Conduct research to develop compelling grant proposals, appeal letters, external fundraising communications, reports, and other necessary fundraising materials  
  • Leverage technology to efficiently craft, edit, and proofread clear and concise content that effectively communicates the organization's vision, mission and impact
  • Assist with donor research and prospect identification while staying up-to-date on fundraising trends and best practices
  • Work collaboratively with the Development team to achieve fundraising goals. 
  • Limited travel for in-person team or organization retreats  
  • Complete other duties as assigned 

QUALIFICATIONS  

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in writing and editing fundraising materials 
  • Commitment to racial and social justice and a desire to apply anti-racism and anti-oppression principles and practices 
  • Proven success leveraging technology/AI to support efficient copywriting
  • Proven ability to write clear, concise, and persuasive copy with a strong attention to detail and meticulous proofreading abilities 
  • Thorough understanding of project management principles and methodologies 
  • CRM experience (Salesforce preferred)  
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously 
  • Passion for the organization's mission and a commitment to fundraising success  

PREFERENCES

  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana) is a plus. 
  • Bilingual abilities, preferably Spanish  

SALARY AND BENEFITS 

  • $76,000.00 - $87,000.00 annually 
  • 403(b) retirement plan with 4% match
