GENERAL:
The Camp COPE Clinical Director plays a vital role in the success of the Camp COPE experience, a weekend summer camp for bereaved children, teens and their families, plus additional year-round family-focused programming.
This is a part-time paid exempt position that requires the oversight of all clinical aspects of planning and implementation. This position also plays a key role in collaborating with the team responsible for the Camp’s corresponding Parent/Caregiver Retreat for the children’s adult family members to attend simultaneously - particularly in regard to marketing, interview process, and coordination throughout the weekend.
The Camp Clinical Director will also play a pivotal role in the transition from a prior camp model and program of thirteen years to establishing a new Camp COPE brand and program. This aspect of the role will include program development, curriculum development, marketing, and outreach.
The Camp COPE Clinical Director works directly and closely with the Camp COPE Camp Director, who both report to the COPE Clinical and Program Director.
