ABOUT THE POSITION
The Vice President of Programs and Operations plays a key role in helping to determine strategies and oversee programs to fulfill Avenue's mission. This position directly oversees Avenue's Asset Building, Community Initiatives, and Lending programs, and also has primary responsibility for organization-wide operational planning, coordination, and reporting. This position works with individual department heads to monitor their work, not only ensuring each function stays on track to meet its goals, but also making sure each department understands its role in relation to the other departments and Avenue's mission.
The Vice President of Programs and Operations helps to nurture a strong organizational culture by promoting collaboration and teamwork.
The Vice President of Programs and Operations supports the financial management of Avenue as a member of the Finance Committee and approver of financial transactions, and is responsible for the effective management of Technology to ensure maximum productivity.
The role is located in Houston, Texas. No relocation assistance is provided.
