About the Maranyundo Initiative
The Maranyundo Initiative supports access to excellent education through the Maranyundo Girls School (MGS) and other educational programs in Rwanda. Opening in 2008, MGS is now a top-performing middle and high school in Rwanda, providing a STEM-focused education to 450+ students a year with over 66% on scholarships reaching 4,500+ students since its opening.
Beginning in 2020, Maranyundo began expanding support to 27 other schools in Rwanda and is now building its Maranyundo Training and Learning Center (MTLC) on MGS’s campus for broader impact in STEM teacher development and educational training.

Position Details
This position provides an hourly wage, dependent on the chosen candidate's experience. All compensation is subject to applicable payroll taxes and deductions required by law. This is a part-time, hybrid position, with the office located in Cambridge, MA. The candidate would be responsible for their own transportation.
This role reports directly to the Executive Director (ED). The primary work location will be our Cambridge, MA office, 2-3 days per week. Any adjustments to this schedule will be mutually agreed upon with the ED.
Employment Details
This is an "at-will" position, meaning either you or the Maranyundo Initiative may terminate the relationship at any time. This position is classified as "exempt" under federal wage-hour laws, meaning you are not eligible for overtime pay.
