POSITION SUMMARY
ISEP, a 40-employee organization located in downtown Arlington is seeking a Manager of Information Technology. This position will report to the Director of Information Technology. This is a hands-on Manager role requiring a project management and systems administration background coupled with database management, data analysis, research, and testing skills and to be able to create dynamic stored procedures to generate various reports as requested by staff, as well as web development support.
60% of your time will be spent in:
· Help desk,
· Project management
· Systems administration
While 40% will be spent in:
· Developing or modifying existing SQL code (Stored procedures, Views, Functions)
· Creating, and running queries to reconcile data errors
· Running basic SQL statements: SELECT, UPDATE, INSERT, DELETE
· Web development support.
PRINCIPAL RELATIONSHIPS
External: IT Consultants and Vendors supporting Director of Information Technology
Internal: Staff, Mid-Level Managers, Executive Team supporting Director of Information Technology
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
· Onboarding of new employees
· AMS Management & Training
· Help Desk Tiers 1 & 2 Support
· Support Director of Information Technology with supporting Active Directory, Office 365, and Azure
· Support Director of Information Technology with Systems Administration
· Support Director of Information Technology with Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity
· Ensuring servers are patched regularly
· Support Director of Information Technology with on-premises VMware infrastructure
· Support Director of Information Technology with managed VoIP service
· Assist the IT department with numerous in-process initiatives including:
· Project Management – Enrollment Management System development work
· Project Management – Association Management System
· Project Management and Content – ISEP IT Policies & Procedures and Onboarding Policies & Process
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
· 3-5 years of systems administration
· 3-5 years of Active Directory, Office 365, and Azure experience
· Mid-level SQL & SQL Server experience (Backup and restore, queries, stored procedures, etc.)
· Strong communication and customer service skills
· Ability to prioritize tasks
· Project Management experience
· Monitor and ensure uptime and systems availability
· VMware experience
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Any one of the following: PMP, MCSA, MCSE, or B.S. in Information Systems Management
· Experience in the non-profit or higher education sector
· .NET experience
