Communications Coordinator

Duties:

King’s Chapel is seeking a Communications Coordinator to create weekly newsletters and other communiques, create graphics for upcoming events, post on social media, inform local calendars of events, maintain mailing lists and support website development.

This position will work with King’s Chapel staff and volunteers to ensure a consistent visual and communicated brand throughout all materials, regularly monitor and evaluate the success of different modes of communication, and implement needed changes to increase impact.

Compensation:

The Coordinator is part-time, 10-12 hours per week in the office located next to the Commons and Public Garden; the hourly rate is $25/hour, and specific hours are flexible.

Qualifications

● High aptitude for visual design, graphic arts and photography, as well as social and multimedia communications.

● High proficiency with social media and commitment to keep current with knowledge, understanding and effective usage.

● Outstanding communications skills, with ability to market to a variety of audiences

● Strong organization skills, with ability to create efficient systems for regularly repeated programming.

● Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, supportive environment

● Demonstrated success with measurable results in a previous social media campaign
