The assistant to the president directly supports the president of The Posse Foundation. The assistant will help the president to maintain professional contacts and networks, keep and manage schedule and calendar, draft correspondence, and field phone calls. The position includes management and execution of special projects, research, and relationship-building responsibilities. The assistant will serve and communicate with the national board and advisory boards, setting meeting dates, maintaining board files, taking minutes, preparing board packages, and managing quarterly board meetings. The assistant will also develop and maintain databases and files, oversee the preparation and proper execution of contracts and be responsible for official paperwork.
