Program Coordinator, Older Adults Technology Services


The Position 

The Program Coordinator will be a key team member, a leader who is passionate about “Aging with Attitude,” who is excited by the possibilities of technology, who enjoys the perspectives of older people, and who has the energy, creativity, and dedication to make history. The Program Coordinator will help manage one of the organization’s large corporate partnerships and be responsible for ensuring the successful interactivity between OATS’ program locations throughout the U.S. and the corporation’s teams of volunteers and other staff members. The Coordinator will promote, organize, maintain and expand volunteerism which meets the needs of the population we serve. The Coordinator will have control and responsibility of the schedule(s) and duties for which volunteers are utilized.

Key responsibilities include:


Relationship Management

  • Liaising with corporate partner to determine program logistics
  • Create opportunities for corporate volunteers to engage in program activities
  • Working with key program staff in each of the organization’s geographies to plan events, promote engagement and support activities

 

Program Management

  • Coordinating and scheduling volunteer’s/intern’s shifts 
  • Working with third-party scheduling tool to upload events and align resources
  • Helping to design programs that align with the organization’s mission and priorities 
  • Implementing new and existing programs across all content areas and throughout the organization’s geographies

 

Data Management

  • Using Qualtrics, Salesforce and other CRM/Engagement software to manage program deliverables
  • Managing large data sets with a focus on data hygiene
  • Filtering and cleaning data for distribution


Other 

  • Assist with new initiatives in other areas including, but not limited to member recruitment, program planning, curriculum development and event planning
  • Other duties as assigned


The Candidate

In addition to a passion for improving the lives of older adults, the ideal candidate will have the following qualifications/characteristics:


  • A bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • A dynamic personality and excellent presentation, interpersonal and communications skills.
  • An affinity for technology and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Sound ability to work with diverse communities in an empathetic, comfortable and non-judgmental manner.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, yet take initiative and work independently.
  • Creative, resourceful and strong problem-solving ability.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and meticulous about quality, accuracy, and timeliness.
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work on the weekend, if needed.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google apps.


Start Date

  • Immediately


Salary

  • This is a full-time position, with a salary of $45,000/year. OATS offers full-time employees a generous package of leave time (three weeks vacation and ten sick/personal days), health insurance and ancillary benefits, professional development and growth opportunities, and an exciting, collegial work environment.
