Bilingual College Prep Coordinator

The Latino Student Fund (LSF) is hiring a passionate individual to serve as a full-time After-School Program Coordinator. The Coordinator will oversee the LSF's college prep programs located at two DCPS high schools and an alumni program. This is a full-time, year-round position with regular hours from 10am-6pm M-F. The Coordinator is expected to attend all program sessions as well as any special events and split their time between the program site and the LSF office.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Effectively recruit for and lead after school program sessions in Spanish and English for 15-20 11th and 12th-grade students
• Collaborate with program and school-based to  ensure students have access to appropriate resources
• Support Programs Manager in developing program curricula and other educational resources in Spanish and English
• Administer appropriate bilingual evaluations to measure the impact of the program, including admissions and financial data as well as retention and attrition rates, tracking mentor-mentee relationships, and administering relevant assessments
• Oversee logistics for annual events, such as Career Days, out-of-state College Visits, and the Annual College Fair
• Run summer programming for groups of 20-25 students in 3-one week sessions
• Create and plan communication and virtual events for LSF's alumni program

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited 4-year college or university.
• Strong written and oral communication skills in Spanish/English
• Previous experience in a non-profit or school environment
• 1-2 years experience in after school setting or working with high school youth
• Patience, flexibility, and the ability to work under pressure
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Applicants must be able to pass a FBI criminal background check, TB test, and have a current CPR/First Aid certification or be willing to get one.
