We are looking for a proactive social media marketing and community manager to increase the size and engagement of our communities across five major platforms. This versatile manager will be well-versed in organic, paid and influencer marketing, with the ability to drive quantitative results against our organizational, marketing and program goals. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, the successful candidate will have experience and a demonstrated track record in building and engaging social media audiences. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Drive performance of our branded social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram) in substantially growing audience reach and engagement, including practices of paid media, organic media and earned media (micro- and macro- influencers)
  • Monitor and test trends and new social media products to boost audience volume and engagement
  • With analytics, own and report on all social media analytics and share insights with stakeholders broadly across the organization
  • Recommend and implement both creative and targeting tests; share insights and findings
  • Advance organizational Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) efforts via social media promotion
  • Support goals of other M&C team members requiring social media activation and co-marketing with external partners on social media efforts
  • Support deliverables for grants and initiatives incorporating social media marketing
  • With communications operations, develop, maintain and execute social media calendar in alignment with organizational priorities and goals, maximizing time management and making independent decisions on trade-offs
  • Develop efficient means of social monitoring and organizational response by leveraging automations, notifications, and other means
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the M&C team to develop and refine messaging and voice across multiple channels and audiences
  • Effectively enlist the engagement of Partnership staff in supporting community build
  • Research and recommend development of new social media channels supporting organizational goals

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
  • 6+ years’ relevant work experience/specialized education, with 2-3 years’ minimum experience in social media community management, preferably with demonstrated track record in driving quantitative goals
  • Competency with ad serving tools across social media platforms
  • Strong command of social media marketing metrics and best-practice ROI
  • Experience working in a marketing automation platform, such as HubSpot
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, verbal and written skills
