Position Overview


The Senior Recruitment Advancement Director leads the Recruitment Advancement team and is responsible for the evolution and adaptation of City Year’s recruitment strategies to fill a diverse and qualified national corps in an ever-shifting recruitment environment. This role manages the Strategic Partnership Director who is responsible for national partnerships to attract under-represented talent and designing and training recruiters in equity centered recruitment practices. The Senior Recruitment Advancement Director partners with regional Vice Presidents, Recruitment Directors and Recruiters to align and establish business processes, baseline expectations for recruiter practices, design and coordinate learning and development for recruiters and to facilitate continuous improvement through insights and communities of practice.


The location of this position is flexible.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design of cost-effective recruitment strategies and practices that will optimize City Year’s ability to achieve our goals
  • Support the development of our business process in partnership with other functional areas of the talent acquisition team
  • Identify, design and coordinate the implementation of recruiter learning and development to effectively execute our strategies
  • Partner with City Year’s analytics and recruitment teams to identify, analyze and develop insights to inform strategies and day to day operations
  • Partner with City Year’s Marketing team to integrate marketing and recruitment strategies, practices and business processes, including the development of tools and resources (e.g. nurture campaigns, website updates)
  • Manage and support the development of the Strategic Partnerships Director
  • Integrate under-represented talent and equity centered practices throughout all recruitment strategies and practices
  • Facilitate learning and alignment spaces for various cohorts, including the Recruitment Director community, regional and strategy specific communities
  • Manage external partnerships such as Handshake, our primary online platform for candidate outreach
