Human Services Director

OVERVIEW

A Supportive Community For All (SCFA) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization established in 2022 with a mission to create a more equitable Snoqualmie Valley by engaging, connecting, and supporting people and organizations to collaboratively build a community where all members can thrive. We draw on collective impact and community power building frameworks while working with community partners to address inequities in health, housing, financial opportunity, and community connection. A Supportive Community For All serves as the “hub” and leader of the Snoqualmie Valley Referral and Navigation Program – a collaborative project of the Snoqualmie Valley Human Services Coalition, that ensure residents can access needed services. We also participate in Healthier Here’s county-wide Community Hub initiative, supporting regional alignment and rural representation in care coordination efforts.

The Human Services Director plays a key leadership role in our highly collaborative efforts. This position directly supervises three case managers and oversees SCFA’s human services programs, ensuring quality and compliance. Beyond internal leadership, the Director supports over 30 frontline staff across 12 partner organizations in the Navigation Program. Though these staff are not SCFA employees, the Director acts as the central guide and coach—leading implementation of a comprehensive learning program for partners, fostering collaboration, and supporting high-quality, equity-informed service delivery across the network. The ideal candidate is a dependable, relationship-centered leader with deep human services experience, a strong equity lens, and a commitment to responsive, community-informed care.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Case Management Program Oversight

• Supervise and support three Case Managers, providing coaching, performance feedback, and professional development.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of SCFA’s case management program (including outreach efforts), ensuring quality, compliance, and effectiveness.
• Lead weekly case management team meetings and foster a collaborative, supportive work environment grounded in equity and trauma-informed principles.
• Manage recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of case management staff in partnership with the Executive Director.
• Partner with Executive Director to strengthen existing, and develop new, organizational policies and procedures to support effective case management and resource navigation within a uniquely collaborative regional ecosystem.
• Collaborate with Executive Director to set strategic goals, monitor outcomes, and continuously improve program services.
• Promote learning, resilience, and wellbeing within the team.

Navigation Program Oversight

• Provide leadership for the Snoqualmie Valley Referral and Navigation Program, which includes 30+ staff across 12 partner organizations.
• Lead monthly Navigation Team meetings to promote collaboration, learning, and partner engagement.
• Collaborate with community partners and stakeholders to continually identify learning needs, increase accessibility of existing learning opportunities, and create relevant training modules and workshops.
• Provide training and technical assistance to staff at 12 partner organizations to drive successful utilization of Julota, a shared cloud-based case management platform.

Other Responsibilities

• Guide quality improvement across Navigation and Case Management programs.
• Assist with grant writing, reporting, and community engagement efforts as needed.
• Represent SCFA at external meetings, coalitions, and community events.
• Participate in organizational leadership and strategic planning activities.
• Serve as SCFA’s HIPAA Compliance Officer, ensuring data privacy and security standards are upheld across programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Ideal candidates will have the following qualifications:

• 3–5 years supervisory experience in human services or related field.
• Commitment to SCFA’s core values: equity, collaboration, connection, and innovation.
• Strong knowledge of local social service systems and resources.
• Proven leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Solid understanding of case management principles and program implementation.
• Experience ensuring HIPAA compliance.
• Preferred experience coordinating multi-partner programs or coalitions.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations through strong interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred—MSW or related social work training highly valued but not required.
• Bilingual Spanish-English a plus.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to attend occasional evening or weekend meetings.
• Local travel within Snoqualmie Valley and surrounding areas.
