Leadership Senior Manager (Special Olympics North Carolina)

Work alongside the Athlete Leadership Manager role filled by an athlete leader to implement all programs.

• Assist with the scheduling of athlete leaders in various capacities.
• Serve as a mentor for the Athlete Leadership Council.
• Work with athlete leaders to develop and implement various trainings.
• Oversee the Athlete Ambassador program and further develop systems for tracking and recognition.
• Create strategies with the development department to fully incorporate athlete leaders into fundraising efforts.
• Collaborate with the communications department on the training and utilization of athlete public speakers through the Global Messenger program.
• Develop the Athlete Leadership University initiative.
• Maintain data associated with athlete leadership involvement.
• Other duties as assigned.
