FamilyAid is Greater Boston’s leading provider of solutions to family homelessness. Its mission is to empower parents and caregivers facing homelessness to secure and sustain housing and build strong foundations for their children’s futures.
The hundred-plus year-old agency has launched bold new strategies to reduce two-generation homelessness by dramatically increasing its prevention, housing, and supportive services for children, putting the organization on a fast-growth trajectory.
To support these strategies, the agency seeks a dynamic, driven Executive Assistant, to support the agency’s deepening services to more than 5,000 children and parents.
The Executive Assistant will provide day to day, scheduling, communications, and administrative support to the President and to the Chief Operating Officer (COO).
The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in a related field and will be highly detailed-oriented, have excellent technology/software skills and superior writing ability. Additionally, the Executive Assistant must be able to maintain a well-organized and efficient office, remote and onsite, including the establishment, implementation and maintenance of office systems that assist the President and COO. At least three years of experience as an executive assistant or in an administrative role within an executive level office is required.

Work Schedule and Conditions: This position is currently hybrid. FamilyAid’s headquarters is located at 3815 Washington Street, Boston, MA 02130. Monday- Friday, 8:30 AM-5 PM, 40 hours/week. Some onsite work at FamilyAid locations and main office and occasional evening and weekend availability is required.
FamilyAid’s Covid vaccine policy requires that all employees have received primary dosage series at time of hire.
