Overview: Dougy Center is seeking a Full-Time Marketing Assistant to join our Marketing & Communications Team! This position will advance marketing and communications efforts to increase awareness and support for Dougy Center’s mission and programs. The position includes managing the Dougy Center’s social media content and website, designing and updating Dougy Center materials, assisting with media relations, creating video projects, and more. Additional opportunities to assist the Development team with events and campaign support.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Knowledge of marketing principles and practices
· Advanced knowledge of social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn
· Ability to navigate website content management systems
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud a plus
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications, or equivalent experience
· Experience managing several projects simultaneously while meeting project deadlines
· Flexibility to work evenings and weekends on occasion
Dougy Center offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits, including unlimited vacation, a hybrid office/work from home schedule, dog friendly office, employer matched retirement fund, life and disability insurance, and employer paid medical, vision, and dental. The position is based at 3909 NE 52nd Ave (Dougy Center East) and does require time in the physical office where current Dougy Center COVID-19 protocols are followed.
