POSITION OVERVIEW

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced program leader to make an impact by building and refining an innovative program for parents in the region. The Program Director will be charged with ensuring the overall programmatic success of LIFT’s regional office by managing the local program team, building local partnerships and adjusting local programmatic strategy to ensure our service to parents is as efficient and impactful as possible. As LIFT is in the process of standardizing programs across regions, the Program Director will be accountable for implementing a model that is aligned and in accordance with national LIFT standards. The Program Director will also play an important role in improving LIFT’s programs nationwide by working in collaboration with Program Directors across LIFT’s regions to identify and package best practices, both those that emerge through practice and those from within the field, in order to ensure that LIFT’s services are on the cutting edge. Lastly, the Program Director will support the Executive Director and lead the Programs team in representing the organization to external stakeholders.

AS A PROGRAM DIRECTOR, YOU WILL:

• Lead LIFT's local program team by managing your colleagues to achieve ambitious goals around families' increased income and savings, decreased debt, improved educational attainment and employment
• Serve as the regional office’s key liaison with LIFT's National Program Team; adapting requirements and recommendations from LIFT's National Program Team to meet the region’s unique needs
• Establish and steward high-stakes programmatic partnerships, including early childhood, educational and employment providers
• Analyze program performance data and adjust implementation strategies as needed
• Monitor quality of local program data collection and making adjustments in data collection strategies as needed, with support from LIFT’s National Program Team
• Support the Executive Director in communicating impact to external stakeholders through site visits and donor meetings

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Bachelor’s degree and minimum 5 years’ experience in programmatic work; experience working with low-income parents, ideally in career, education or financial capabilities preferred
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience managing a team to achieve ambitious programmatic outcomes
• You are able to use data to identify programmatic trends and develop responsive practices for improving programs.
• You are able strategize and think “big picture,” identifying local opportunities for growth and impact.
• You are a strong collaborator who enjoys learning and developing best practices in partnership with a team.
• You are clear and compelling in both verbal and written communications, and you enjoy motivating your team around a common goal.
• You have strong executive presence and a proven ability to establish and strengthen relationships with partners.

WHAT WE OFFER: 

• LIFT’s compensation philosophy is to pay competitively for our non-profit sector and ensure equity across the organization. The salary range for this role is $90,000-100,000/year. Compensation for the role will depend on several factors including qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and may fall outside the range shown.
• LIFT provides an attractive benefits package that includes employer-paid health care coverage (100% for employees, 75% for dependents), a 403(b) retirement plan including an employer match contribution, 12 weeks paid parental leave, partial cell phone coverage, and pre-tax accounts for transit, health, and childcare benefits. LIFT also provides a generous paid-time-off policy, including one-week company-wide vacation over the winter holidays and a one-week company-wide vacation over the summer fiscal year transition.
