Overview and Position Summary
Play On Philly (POP) is a non-profit that provides daily, after-school music instruction to over 250 K-12 students. We work in communities that historically have had little or no access to formal music education. We are seeking a Program Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of all student and family-related activities. A problem-solver and people-person, the Program Manager works closely with the Director of Educational Programming and the Music Director on higher-level planning and with Program Coordinators on direct implementation of musical activities.
Job Description
Reporting to the Director of Educational Programming, the Program Manager is responsible for overseeing all non-curricular components of Play On Philly programming. The Program Manager, manages a team of four Coordinators to ensure the team can implement all on-site operations and processes, conduct successful student recruitment and enrollment campaigns, manage student data collection and storage, and plan/execute large-scale events on behalf of the program team.
The Program Manager works with Program Coordinators to troubleshoot family and student needs and serves as the Director of Educational Programming’s representative in high-level school partnership meetings.
