PROGRAM STRUCTURE: The Families Moving Forward (FMF) program will provide each family housing assistance in the form of assistance with locating an appropriate unit (meeting rent reasonableness standards and pass inspections by TCP), Subsidy Assistance for an initial period of 3 months, basic furniture and moving assistance (via TCP). Initial financial costs will be paid using Housing Prevention and Rapid Rehousing Program funds (HPRP). The families will go through program Re-certification every 3 months to assess the continuation or termination from the program up to 12 months

Description: The Family Services Coordinator provides clinical supervision to the North Capitol Collaborative case carrying staff and ensures qualitative and qualitative service delivery measures are consistent adherence on a daily basis. The FSC will assist Housing Program Director in managing day-to-day service delivery, standard protocols and Best Practice methods. The FSC will help improve quantitative measures from intake to case closure procedures; and will manage master case list, assign case manager’s cases, setup intakes and review closed case documentation, and close clients. FSC will review and maintain all UIR’s (Unusual Incident Reports). FSC will attend all case managers OAH Hearings and Administrative Reviews. The FSC will develop relationships with local area Universities to provide BA and MA internship opportunities.

Required Skills:

· LCSW/LMSW/LCPC in District of Columbia (required)

· LICSW in District of Columbia (Must have license within 12 months of employment)

· Provide clinical supervision hours for LGSW’s (preferred)

· 2-3 year’s supervisory experience of 5 or more staff

· Professional communication skills

· Detail Oriented and highly organized

· Flexible and able to adapt to changing environment

· Computer proficiency (familiar with HMIS database, MS Word, MS Excel)

· Ability to work independently and in a team environment;

· Familiar with community resources, Housing Authority, Section8, Vouchers, Property Manager and Landlords in DC

  • MSW Degree in social work or related doctrine (In human services area) required

OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Valid driver’s license, copy of driving record, and proof of valid auto insurance; FBI Clearance, local police clearance, DC and local Child Abuse Registry Clearance; TB Screening; Drug and Alcohol Screening

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: This position requires the ability to speak, hear, see, and lift small objects up to 20 lbs. May require assistance with our FMF Food Pantry, or Diaper Village and navigate stairs, etc.
