Partnership with Children is looking for a new Development Manager to support the Chief Development Officer in strengthening organizational fundraising efforts and building a wider base of support among individual and corporate donors. Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, the Development Manager will manage significant aspects of fundraising and development activities for PWC, particularly focused on individual giving, the annual fund, and fundraising events. The successful candidate will work cross-departmentally to develop and implement strategies for donor relationship management (recruit, cultivate, nurture, retain, and steward) to meet the annual and long-term goals of the department and the organization.
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
Donor Relations:
In partnership with Chief Development Officer and Communications Director, implement a systematic and meaningful donor communication and stewardship program.
Recruit and manage PWC’s recently relaunched Young Professionals Board, including regular meetings and special events.
Collaborate with the Communications Director to create multi-channel appeals, newsletters, and other fundraising campaigns to engage donors.
Maintain a calendar of annual stewardship actions, events, and project timelines.
Qualify identified prospects and donors for cultivation and solicitation potential; conduct prospect research and assess their capacity and inclination to give.
Corporate Partnerships:
Build and cultivate a pipeline for corporate partnerships to establish and grow mutually beneficial relationships.
Collaborate cross-functionally with PWC school-based staff to develop and execute a corporate volunteer program.
Event Management:
Facilitate the planning and execution of the annual gala and other cultivation and stewardship events throughout the year.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure events align with organizational goals and provide exceptional experiences for attendees.
Development Operations:
Oversee the seamless integration of development CRM (Salesforce) with financial systems to ensure financial objectives are visible and upheld within fundraising activities.
Coordinate with the Institutional Giving Manager and Development and Communications Associate to ensure timely and accurate gift entry and acknowledgment processes.
Support maintenance of donor information in Salesforce and other drives to track funder relationships and uphold data integrity.
Collaborate with Chief Development Officer and Chief Financial Officer to develop routine, data-driven revenue projections and monitor with ongoing review and analysis.
Manage contracts with development consultants and vendors, and track expenses against budgeted costs.
Support the Development team on other projects, tasks, and campaigns, as needed.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required; 3-5 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising.
Ability to execute fundraising plans and strategies that generate significant results and proven track record in managing donor relations and development operations
Strong time-management and organizational skills, including the ability to develop and maintain best-in-class systems, policies, and tools that directly support individual giving and the overall development department.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and engage diverse stakeholders. Expertise in cultivating an array of internal and external working relationships with finesse.
Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges and opportunities.
Experience building a new major giving program, corporate partnerships, and/or volunteer engagement program, a plus.
Broad understanding of the philanthropic, educational, mental health, and equity landscapes.
Experience with prospecting tools and new donor acquisition strategies.
Proficiency in Salesforce (or similar CRM) and Microsoft Office Suite.
