Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Coordinator to join our team at Eden II Programs, a specialized non-profit school for children with autism spectrum disorders. The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for providing clinical oversight to classroom staff under general supervision of the program Director.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Provide direct clinical supervision to classroom teachers and behavior specialists
- Provide ABA training to teachers/behavior specialists/assistants on reinforcement, behavior plan implementation, data collection and professionalism
- Supervising proper IEP development, implementation and progress reports
- Schedule meetings within compliance and ensuring that all necessary documentation is provided from teachers/ therapists to CPSE/ CSE in a timely manner.
- Supervise the development of quarterly reports
- Develop educational curriculum and train teachers in their application
- Assist teachers in conducting NYSAA
- Conduct student clinics evaluating programming, instruction, and materials as well as providing follow up recommendations
- Conduct behavior assessments, develop behavior plans and train all staff in the classroom
- Conduct staff observation and write formal evaluations. Requires year end evaluations for teaching assistant staff.
- Provide lecture/training to new hires
- Attend BMC, HRC, department and all other related administrative meetings
- Attends classroom meetings on a weekly basis.
- Ensure proper staffing for all classrooms each day
- Plan community based-activities for students a minimum of once a month
- Review and evaluate student data books
- Conduct monthly supervision meetings with teachers
- Assist teachers as needed with problems during sessions
- Plan and conduct training for staff development days.
- Must become certified in SCIP method
- Participate in monthly tours.
- Participate in parent/teacher conference night.
- Conduct in-session checks.
- Review and evaluate student data books/ancillary books
- Communicate with parents on a regular basis
- Review new hire test scores with new hires.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a related field (Behavior Analysis, Education, Psychology, etc).
- NYS Certified Teacher or BCBA/LBA
- Advanced knowledge of applied behavior analysis
Hours: This position is a 40 hour a week position
