POSITION SUMMARY:
Two (2) temporary Data Entry Assistants are needed to support the Development Operations team by processing incoming gifts for the organization, responding to data entry related inquiries from staff, volunteers, and donors, and managing CRM databases. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, highly organized, and self-motivated.
This is a temporary, entry level position. The position will begin in mid-July and run through mid November 2026.
This will be a full-time temporary position (5 days a week). This position will be required to work in-person at our National Office in lower Manhattan 2-3 days per week, and work the remainder of the week from home (if desired).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process and enter donations received by the organization
- Enter constituent data into organization’s CRM databases
- Assist with database projects, including data management, cleansing, and migration
- Collaborate with the finance department, field staff, and other departments to ensure entry is accurate and handle other CRM and data-related requests from those teams
- Field phone and email questions from constituents
- Support the development team with other data entry administrative duties as needed

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Education: Associates degree
Technology/Equipment: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Experience and/or Training: At least one year of related work experience in data entry/administration preferred. Experience working with a CRM a plus.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS:
