The American Meteorological Society (AMS) is seeking a Marketing Communications Coordinator who will support our mission of advancing weather, water, and climate science. As part of a small Marketing and Design team, you will play a vital role in maintaining and expanding the AMS’s marketing and communications efforts. The position is responsible for creating and selecting engaging copy and visuals for a variety of digital channels matching the AMS voice and brand. In this role you will also build and maintain templates and target groups in the digital marketing platform and create and schedule mailings and campaigns for all AMS departments.
The Marketing Communications Coordinator will report to the Acting Director of Operations and Project Management and will work closely on a day-to-day basis with managers, directors, executives, and volunteers.

This position can be 100% remote, but you must be available during our core business hours of 9:30am to 3:30pm EST/EDT. A hybrid schedule is also available for candidates in the Boston area.
