Sangha Studio is a nonprofit, donation-based yoga studio in Vermont. Our mission is to build community through yoga + connection while embodying our core values of inclusion, access and connection. We do this through a unique donation-based model, membership scholarships, training scholarships and free series. At Sangha, we want our community to feel like they truly have a place to call home. 

The Studio Manager serves as the first impression of the studio in all email communications, in-person dialogues, and over the phone sales and inquiries. The Studio Manager is responsible for the success of their particular studio location and will report directly to the Assistant Operations Director. 

Candidates must have an exceptional level of “connecting the dots” to see how people, community members, programs, and systems work together, especially regarding the scalability and efficiency of the studio. The Candidate will uphold our high standards of customer service, continually serving as an example for teachers, volunteers, students, and all other parties. Candidates must have exceptional levels of team communication, follow-up, and be a creative thinker. Additionally, candidates must also be an independent go-getter. Candidates must have a desire to get people involved and be a part of our community.

Below is a general guideline of duties and responsibilities and may not include all other reasonable duties as assigned that may be subject to review and change at the Operation Team's discretion.


  • All daily operations involved in the management and success of the studio location
  • Teacher communication, sub communication + changes to the drop-in class schedule
  • Carry out and support series + workshops + other like offerings
  • Management of location-specific volunteers 
  • Implementing strategic planning initiatives from upper management
  • Run systems efficiently and in a timely manner in collaboration with our operations team
  • Community building
  • Work collaboratively with fellow Studio Managers as needed and on one-time projects
  • If 200-hour Certified Yoga Teacher, teaching 4-6 hours/week 


  • Expertise with Google Suite, specifically Google Docs and Google Sheets required. 
  • Experience with MindBody Online or other scheduling software, Trello,  Canva and general project management preferred, but not required.
  • Experience with monitoring and adjusting budgets as needed  
  • Extremely detail-oriented
  • Through follow-up skills
  • Ability to prioritize and complete tasks fully
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Able to multitask efficiently as needed 
  • Able to follow predetermined operating systems
  • Gives clear and direct feedback compassionately and effectively
  • Works well independently and as a team. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification strongly encouraged.
  • Demonstrate adaptability as Sangha is a growing organization
