Position Summary:

The FLA is looking for a Program Assistant to provide administrative support across various platforms for the Affiliation and Capacity Building team. This position focuses on addressing the concerns of the FLA’s licensee affiliates and assisting the Affiliation Support Manager and University Program Manager with various administrative tasks.

This is a part-time position (30 hours per week) based in Washington, DC and reports to the Affiliation Support Manager.


Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Respond to emails and calls from licensee affiliates. This will include providing instructions and assisting them with:
  • Logging into various platforms including MyFLA, Fair Factories Clearinghouse (FFC), and e-Learning.
  • Understanding the requirements of being an FLA affiliate (i.e., e-Learning and FFC disclosures).
  • Registering, renewing, and paying invoices.
  • Making factory disclosures and viewing reports in FFC.
  • Support administrative tasks within the FLA’s e-Learning platform including uploading user accounts and general account management.
  • Support administrative tasks within the FLA’s Association Management System (AMS) including facilitating licensee registration and renewal.

 

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree required.
  • At least two years of experience working as a program assistant.
  • Proficient with computer technology and Microsoft Office applications, including previous data entry and management experience.
  • Sharp attention to detail with an extraordinary ability to multitask; excellent time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Interest in and commitment to FLA’s mission.
