Sales Account Executive

Art in Action, a non-profit organization, is seeking a creative, energetic Sales Account Executive to drive earned income and mission growth.

The Account Executive brings our programs to schools and youth organizations through direct sales efforts, including the creation of inbound and outbound leads. This team member is a key contributor in scaling the impact of the organization and growing it beyond its steady base of long-term, satisfied school customers.

Responsibilities:

• Meet or exceed annual revenue goals with focus on strategic territories, inbound, outbound and renewal sales
• Develop and deploy sales strategies to grow number of students served annually
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships
• Effectively communicate our value proposition through proposals and presentations
• Understand current education landscapes and trends
• Collaborate on marketing strategy to support sales activities
• Participate in organization’s events to support mission

Qualifications:

• 3-5+ years of successful sale experience
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales goals
• Ability to drive the sales process from planning to close
• Experience with prospecting, networking and/or new business development
• Excellent relationship management skills, dedication to customer service
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Thrives in a small, collaborative working environment
• BA/BS degree or equivalent
