Assistant Director - Program on Corporate Compliance and Enforcement

Position Summary: The NYU Program on Corporate Compliance and Enforcement is seeking a full-time Assistant Director to support PCCE’s general operations as well as its Faculty Director, Jennifer Arlen, and Executive Director, Julie Copeland. The Assistant Director manages PCCE’s public events (both live and over zoom); assists the Executive Director with PCCE’s blog, Compliance and Enforcement; oversees communications and development (e.g., editing and organizing annual report, interactions and correspondence with Board of Advisors, brochures, and webpages); manages PCCE’s budget; helps oversee PCCE’s Student Fellows; organizes PCCE’s tri-annual Board of Advisors dinners; and meets weekly or bi-weekly with PCCE’s Faculty Director and Executive Director. 

Qualifications

Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree.

Preferred Experience: Administrative experience, including experience organizing events (both live and over Zoom) and managing a budget. No experience in compliance or enforcement is required.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Ability:

• Excellent organizational, administrative, communication and interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to organize public events (both live and over Zoom)
• Ability to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels, including donors and potential donors.
• Familiarity with word processing, spreadsheet, and database software.
• Ability to work independently and as an integrated member of a small, close-knit team.
