The Pre-Arrival Advisor is responsible for managing a portfolio of student participants with the goal to provide excellent service and achieve placement in the interest of enrollment goals. The incumbent must work closely with their student advising portfolio to understand internship interests to identify strong matches between their student participants and available internship opportunities. A successful candidate will have an entrepreneurial, can-do attitude and will skillfully advise and guide students on internship opportunities. This individual is responsible for supporting students throughout the pre-arrival experience, identifying any potential barriers to enrollment. The Pre-Arrival Advisor is a team player that generates solutions and provides excellent service and support to student participants throughout the pre-arrival experience. This is a temporary position which will work to support the advisement of students participating in The Washington Center’s summer program. Ideal start date for the role is mid-December 2021 and the position will run through May 31st, 2022.
This is a 100% remote position.
