Center for Children’s Advocacy seeks STAFF ATTORNEY FOR INNOVATIVE MEDICAL-LEGAL PARTNERSHIP PROJECT AT YALE NEW HAVEN HOSPITAL
The Center for Children’s Advocacy along with Yale New Haven Hospital and Yale Law School were recently awarded a highly competitive federal grant to expand CCA’s Medical-Legal Partnership Project (MLPP) in unique and exciting ways. For the first time, the federal government distributed initial funding to only 8 sites around the country as a way to showcase innovative partnerships which could serve as models for future support.
The Center for Children’s Advocacy (CCA), is a non-profit organization dedicated to fighting for the legal rights of Connecticut’s most vulnerable children. It operates MLPs at three sites including CCMC, YNHH, YCSC with a mission to focus on health equity by improving health outcomes for low income children who are patients at these partner health institutions as well as to address issues of health equity and health disparities in the state’s pediatric and young adult population. More information about CCA’s MLPP can be found here: https://ccact.org/ourwork/aboutus_programs_mlpp/.
