As a Recruiting Coordinator (RC), you will play an essential role in our company’s growth. You’re responsible for delivering a world-class candidate experience, and ensuring that hiring managers for both technical and non-technical teams have a smooth, fluid, and efficient interview process. RCs are the masters of scheduling complex calendars and communicating cross-functionally within the organization. Reporting to the Recruitment Director; you’ll brainstorm experience improvements through candidate feedback surveys, process optimization in our Applicant Tracking System, Greenhouse, and talent acquisition strategies according to industry best practices. 


  • Schedule a high volume of interviews across all teams at ActBlue
  • Own the the candidate experience throughout the interview process
  • Learn the ins and outs of navigating Greenhouse, our Applicant Tracking System
  • Maintain accurate data reporting within Greenhouse and other tools
  • Diagnose and help generate & execute solutions for Recruitment data collection/monitoring gaps
  • Act as the liaison between hiring managers, candidates and recruiters
  • Develops innovations and improvements to existing processes that can be adopted by Hiring Managers, interviewing teams, & other Recruitment team members
  • Manage a targeted set of job postings and recruitment expenses


  • 2-4 years of work experience in a fast-paced environment 
  • Commitment to building actively anti-racist interview processes with a lens towards Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in hiring
  • Clear and compassionate communication style (written and verbal) that makes every candidate feel cared for and every hiring manager heard 
  • Problem-solver mentality: the ability to identify problems and figure out how to work through them with others
  • Strong organizational skills and an interest in creating better systems and processes to manage our candidate experience
  • Knows when to ask for help and advocates for what they need 
  • A close attention to detail 


  • You’ve used Greenhouse or another Applicant Tracking System previously
  • You love technology and enjoy experimenting with new tools 
  • You have experience in a customer service-oriented role 
  • You have a genuine passion for Democratic politics, social impact nonprofits, and small-dollar fundraising


This posting is for a full-time, remote, salaried position. ActBlue is currently authorized to support remote work employees in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, Washington D.C., and Wisconsin.
